Event: Self-funded, mostly unstructured, trip to pre-civil war town of Jefferson, TX. Over 100 buildings on National Register! Historic attractions, bed and breakfasts (B&B), antique shops, winery, Caddo Lake tours, and more.
Dates: Sep 25, 26, 27th. Two nights.
Registration: Event is limited to 30 people.
Trip Route (one way): Approx 3.5 hours, not including stops.
Meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Veteran Memorial Park (between park and library along the I-45 feeder road) in Conroe on Thrusday September 25th.

Social Itinerary:
THURSDAY evening 4:30 p.m. Social/icebreaker at the Black Swan B&B. Light snacks and BYOB. Post-social dinner is on your own. Register for Black Swan event on SHCC website so I can have a headcount.
FRIDAY day everyone is on their own/free to explore the town and surrounding area as they wish. IT IS STRONGLY SUGGESTED TO CALL AHEAD FOR AVAILABLE DAYS AND TIMES for tours.
FRIDAY DINNER 5:00 p.m. Once everyone has finished their day and freshened up, we will meet for BBQ at Bear Creek Smokehouse in Marshall (20 min from Jefferson). Register for Bear Creek event on SHCC website so I can have a headcount.
NOTE: Restaurant selection subject to reservation confirmation.
SATURDAY Check out. Drive home is on your own.
