Hey everyone,
Oval Track Racing this Saturday starting at 6:00 pm.
Houston Raceway Park has contacted me with an update on their plans.
This is the first race since we were all "sheltering in place" so they are having to sort a lot of things out to be compliant with local requirements, and NASCAR.
They have asked us to arrive by 5:45 if possible for two reasons.
1) To park in an area just inside the main walkway as a display of sorts.
2) To be ready to do our parade laps a little before 7 pm just before the Prayer and National Anthem, and then remain on the track during the National Anthem.
American Flags, Military Flags, and First Responder/Police support flags are welcome.
I'll be there by 5:00 with my radio on to assist getting everyone where they need to be, and have my phone. 832-444-4489
Once you enter the facility you will go through a drive up ticket booth $30 Pit Passes for anyone going on the track.
Then proceed down the main drive straight to me. I'll be waiting.
Hot Dogs, Beer and Soda are a $1 each. Ill have ear plugs, and miniature American and Checkered flags for anyone who wants them.

· 7:00 pm Racing Starts
o Facility entry and parking is paved and Corvette friendly.
o Reserved paved parking at the front for Corvettes.
· 7:30 pm (Approx) Parade Laps
o Corvettes will be taken out on to the paved track between races to do a few parade laps and wave at the crowd.
o Then we will park on the infield to watch one race, before relocating back to the reserved parking area.
o Pit Passes of $30 required for anyone who plans to drive or ride in a Corvette on to the track.
I requested, and got the ok, for us to carry blue flags in support of local law enforcement officers.
I'll have a dozen smaller blue flags for anyone who wants one.
