Hi Everyone,
It's that time of the year again and we need Sam Houston Club members to volunteer for our 16th year working the Houston Marathon on January 15th, 2023. If you have time and would like to volunteer again or a first timer. Please sign up online for Sector 4 Course Marshal - Westpark.
You need to be at the meeting place by 6:30 am so we can assign personnel along route and get in place by 7:00 am because that's when roads will be closing. We will have hot beverages and breakfast foods and you will receive your race crew credentials, jacket and t-shirt at the meeting point.
Meeting place is same as always; the open parking lot beside the rear of La Quinta Inn on Westpark. The address from google maps; 4107 Westpark Dr, Houston TX 77027.
We should be done about noon and go have lunch together. We usually have about 25 but could use twice that so if you're available for this please come out and help.
