Weekday Tour & Lunch
We will be traveling to the Kreische Brewery & Monument Hill State Historic site in LaGrange for a 1 hour guided walking tour followed by lunch in Winchester, TX @ Murphy’s Steakhouse.
Kreische Brewery was founded in the 1860s and now only the ruins remain.
Monument Hill marks the tomb of the men that died during the Dawson Massacre September 1842 and in the Black Bean episode.
Murphy’s Steakhouse has a delicious variety of food served in a 1913 building with vintage decor.

The drive to LaGrange is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes so there will NOT be a pit stop. Our tour there will begin at 10:45 AM. There is a $3.00/ person charge. To make it faster to pay when we arrive, I will collect your money at Buc-ees. Please have the EXACT AMOUNT .
After our tour we will take a short 17 mile drive to Murphy’s Steakhouse for a 12:30 lunch.
